About our physician

Dr. Lisa Chmielewski received her undergraduate degree at Duke University graduating Cum Laude. She received her medical doctorate at the University of Tennessee, with her residency and fellowship training at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. She has been practicing in Sarasota since 1997, having performed thousands of device implantations, including biventricular devices, and electrophysiology studies, along with ablations.These ablations include the complex procedure for atrial fibrillation. She founded the atrial fibrillation ablation program at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Dr. Chmielewski has played a role in training the staff. She was instrumental in providing advice for equipment with the latest technology. She has always maintained board certification with the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiovascular diseases and cardiac electrophysiology.
